Update - Changes to our New Packfinder™ assessment
Our first improvements to our recently-launched propriatory Packfinder™ assessment
The New Packfinder™ (launched on the 4th of Dec, 2024) introduced significant updates that improved candidate assessment and reporting for hiring professionals. This article provides information about the first update following the introduction of our propriatory assessment and Benchmarking.
Key Updates - Packfinder™ & Benchmarking
5th of March 2025
The following changes have been introduced in our first update on the new assessment and Benchmarking feature:
Factor scoring removed
New look of the scores
New look of the Time to complete metric
Impression management changed to Candidness score
Added Ability to Benchmark Customization
Minor Changes to Nomenclature
See the details of these changes below.
Factor scoring removed
To ensure an easy-to-understand visual design, we decided to remove the Factor-level scores on the Applicants' profiles.
These scores were intended to show if the Applicant scored below, on or above average compared to a generic population. We incorporate this into the new look of the Scores. See below.
New look of the scores
The new look of the assessment scores for Applicants introduces the following changes:
Grouping scores by level of importance set in the Benchmark (previously was Factor-grouped)
Colour coding of scores for easier interpretation
Showing population average for Traits to be able to recognise the Applicant's outstanding skills
Time to Complete and Candidness Score Metrics
The time an Applicant took to complete the assessment is shown on the top of their Packfinder™ score overview. We gave it a new look so it's easier to read whether the Applicant needed too little or too much time to go through all the questions.
The Candidness Score has replaced the Impression Management Score. A higher Candidness Score (closer to 100) suggests that the Applicant answered truthfully and authentically, rather than trying to overly impress the employer.
Added Ability to Benchmark Customization
Benchmark Customization is available from the Workwolf Benchmarks option within the Benchmarking tool. It allows the user to make manual modifications on a suggested Benchmark, meaning users can move traits between importance groups or can decide to completely remove a trait from the Fit calculation.
How to access?
Open the Benchmarking evaluation tool from a Pipeline
Click on Workwolf Benchmarks
Click Customize in the Importance section
Click on the Importance dropdown button beside the Traits you want to change, and select your preferred Importance for that Trait
Click Apply to save your changes
